The course was intense, like many activities with lectures and practical procedures involving various modern technologies in the area of aesthetics. The theoretical-practical activities in the classroom were coordinated by Prof. Layane Gracielly (INPOS, Goaiana, Brazil).

However, in addition to activities at UPTEC, students and teachers made a technical visit to the i3S units (https://www.i3s.up.pt), an activity coordinated by Dr. Alexandra Placido (collaborating researcher at i3S and CEO of Bioprospectum). At this moment the group can perceive several lines of scientific investigation that can be applied in the cosmetic industry as for example studies in culture of cells of the nervous system.

This was Bioprospectum's first initiative in a specialized course. The partnership with the INPOS company was a success, reinforcing the company's capacity to make partnerships mainly in the internationalization of knowledge.
